Clinical Services
Bethesda House Clinical Team is comprised of the Social Work and Medical Care programs.
The Clinical Team works cohesively with Case Management staff and the Directors of the Residential programs to promote mental well-being for the Emergency Shelter and Day Drop-in Center guests and our long-term/permanent housing program residents with severe, persistent, and untreated mental illness. The team facilitates care coordination and expertise navigation of the mental health system.
The team reduces barriers to access and encourages individuals to seek help.
In addition, the Clinical Team provides health support by helping individuals manage their healthcare journey, facilitate access to healthcare services, coordinate with healthcare providers, and effectively resolve and/or stabilize medical needs.
Twice a month, we hold a non-restrictive health center in partnership with Ellis Medical Center's Residency program that allows anyone seeking services to have their vitals checked, get help with making appointments, track health goals and learn about health resources available to them. Ellis Hospital doctors are on-site two afternoons a month.
