Partnerships

Bethesda House provides space on-site for a variety of partner agencies that have satellite programs at Bethesda House. Partners include: Alliance for Positive Health, Schenectady County Health Dept., Cornell Cooperative Extension, MVP Insurance, CDPHP Insurance, Fidelis Insurance, and the Legal Aid Society of NENY.

Bethesda House participates in the Regional Homeless Management Information System, the Homeless Services Planning Board, the Schenectady County Ten-Year Plan to End Homelessness, the Evictions Task Force, the County Food Providers, Adults at Risk Committee, and Schenectady Coalition for a Healthy Community.

Cara House is our latest capital project, bridging the gap in affordable housing and services for the homeless and impoverished in Schenectady County. Cara House offers permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless single adults and single adults released from incarceration, emergency shelter, medical respite, a clinical program which include our medical care program.

This necessary achievement for our community could not be done without the support of the below foundations. We are proud to partner with them and thank them for their commitment to aiding the most vulnerable in Schenectady County.
