Food Pantries

Food Pantries are needed to address food insecurity, ensuring that individuals and families have access to nutritious food when they struggle to afford it. They act as a vital safety net, providing essential support to those facing hunger, whether due to low income, job loss, or other hardships.

Bethesda House implemented a food pantry program when located on Liberty Street in Schenectady.

Our larger, client choice food pantry opened in 2010 at our main location, 834 State Street. We are fortunate to have long-term, dedicated volunteers who are passionate about providing services, food services, to low to no income people.
