Day Program and Food Program
Bethesda House was founded on the need to provide essential, basic living needs, and shelter to the homeless and impoverished in Schenectady.
We are a low-barrier agency prioritizes ease of access and minimal requirements for individuals seeking their services. This means reducing or eliminating obstacles like sobriety requirements, background checks, or strict eligibility criteria. The goal is to make assistance readily available to those who need it most, even if they don't meet traditional standards for support.
The Day Drop-in Center is the point of access to all services we offer. Bethesda House is unique in that comprehensive services are offered under one roof. The Drop-in Center is a safe, secure, welcoming space for the homeless and economically disadvantaged people in Schenectady County.
